At Micro Plating, the office is run with one thing in mind - THE CUSTOMER. Without customers our company is non-existent. Our office personnel are here to assist you and to satisfy your needs. Our Enterprise resource planning software was produced specifically for the plating industry, but our staff is always ready to discuss and meet special requests.

When you call Micro Plating during business hours, you don’t have to remember an extension or wait for a prompting - you will always talk to a real person, committed to customer service!

Micro Plating’s Quality Program meets the requirements of MIL-I-45208 and its foundation begins with a written Quality, Process, and Procedures Manual. These documents incorporate Micro Plating’s quality philosophy of focusing on preventative action rather than problem detection.

At time of receipt, all orders undergo receiving inspection. Before processing begins, printed instructions (Job cards) are generated for each part from our integrated software package. Then, Job card and PO requirements are reviewed for accuracy and changes made as needed. All job cards are then entered into our Kanban spreadsheet (centrally located interactive screen). Jobs are reviewed by the team daily to provide on time delivery to each customer. Normal order lead time from receipt of material is 6 days. Expedited orders are always considered for a minimal fee.

All parts undergo a rigorous in-process and final inspection. Inspectors employ precision microscopes, Fischer scopes, and X-Ray Fluorescence analyzers to verify coating adhesion and thickness.

With an Environmental Policy dedicated to waste minimization and recycling, we are happy to report full compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations.

Micro Plating doesn’t have employees - it has J.I.T. trained personnel committed to customer satisfaction. Our staff relies on an average of 25 years’ experience to apply our coatings by barrel, rack, or selective plating in the most cost-effective, quality proven way.

Parts passing these tests must also pass any visual inspection or other customer requirements before being certified and released to the shipping department. All testing and plating meets or exceeds the requirements called out in MIL-C-26074, ASTM B733, AMS2404, or AMS2454. All of our coatings are also ROHS and REACH compliant.

Micro Plating's chemist maintains an in-house lab to ensure that all processing solutions from cleaners and acids to the plating chemistry itself are maintained to manufacturers specifications.

From incoming inspection of raw materials to disposal of spent chemistries our In-house lab enables us to prevent defects by detecting irregularities before they become problems. SPC data is collected and charted daily.

It is our philosophy to be proactive with regard to quality and we challenge our employees to focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction.

The importance of handling, packaging, and protection of parts is not underestimated by anyone at Micro Plating. All parts are packaged to PO requirements whether bulk, cell, sleeved, or other to make sure parts are received undamaged at our customers location.
